Panjshir

Panjshir is one of the 34 provinces of Afghanistan and is one of the north eastern provinces of the country. The center of Panjshir is Bazarak. Panjshir province shares a border with Takhar, Baghlan, Kapisa, Nuristan, Badakhshan, Laghman and Parwan provinces. Panjshir has an area of 3,771 square kilometers and a population of 172,895. Panjshir has 7 districts which include Abshar, Anaba, Darah, Khenj, Paryan, Rokha and Shotul. Panjshir residents speak in Dari language.
