Nangarhar is one of the 34 provinces of Afghanistan and is one of the eastern provinces of the country. The center of Nangarhar is Jalalabad. Nangarahar province has a common border with Kunar, Laghman and Logar provinces and also with Pakistan. Nangarahar has an area of 7727 square kilometers and a population of 1836000 people. Nangarahar has 21 districts which include Haska Meyna/Deh Bala, Shinwar, Achin, Bihsud, Chaparhar, Darai Nur, Bati Kot, Dur Baba, Goshta, Hisarak, Kama, Khogyani, Kot, Kuz Kunar, Lal Pur, Momand Dara, Nazyan, Pachir Aw Agam, Rodat, Sherzad, Surkh Rod and Spinghar.
